Carpet Rakes
Have you ever heard of a carpet rake? A site called The Fresh Fossil posted a story about carpet rakes and some of their uses last year. I'm not familiar with the Fresh Fossil site, but another site I read, Lifehacker, syndicated the story recently. They suggest several reasons you might find a carpet rake useful.
Carpet RakeIf you've ever watched our technicians clean carpet you probably have already seen a carpet rake or brush. We use them to groom the carpet after cleaning; which surprisingly wasn't mentioned in the story I referenced. Grooming, or raking, a carpet after cleaning is important for the carpet dry more quickly and for the fibers to dry in a more proper position. This helps the carpet to retain it's natural resilliency and not get matted down over time.
