Carpet Cleaning
Carpet Cleaning

No, I'm afraid that wouldn't be a very good idea.  Bleach can remove the dyes in your carpet along with the color of whatever you are trying to remove.  You could easily be left with a bleach stain in place of the spot or stain that was there originally.  If you have a bleach stain on your carpet, you will need to either replace that area of carpet or have it spot dyed by a professional who can accurately match the color.

The industry standard says that residential carpets should be cleaned every 6 months on average.  You may need to clean less often if your carpets get low traffic, or more often if you have a large family, pets, or your carpets get high traffic.  It may be too late if you wait until your carpets look dirty; the soils hidden in your carpet fibers can do permanent damage without regular vacuuming and cleaning.
