Chem-Dry of Indianapolis offers a number of specialty services to our customers. These services are not part of the normal cleaning process, but can be performed at the time of cleaning. The Specialty Services currently available to our customers are as follows:

• Dye Stain Removal
  

  Chem-Dry's patented dye stain removal process will remove those unsightly dye stains from your carpeting, usually with little or no additional color loss. Our "Stain Out" can eliminate Kool Aid™, grape juice, red wine, tomato juice, and a myriad of other dye stains. Whatever the stain emergency, call Chem-Dry of Indianapolis.

• Pet Urine Removal Treatment (P.U.R.T.)

  Many homes have pets. As a result, many homes have pet urine problems.

  These problems range from a minor spot here and there to severe pet urine odor problems that can seriously affect the livability of a home. Chem-Dry's P.U.R.T. is a product specifically designed to deal with "Severe Pet Urine" Problems. Some urine problems actually involve the restoration of the carpeting and may not be considered a cleaning issue. In some cases, the pet urine is such that it may appear to be cheaper to replace the carpeting. This may be the case, however you will still need to deal with the underlying pet urine problem that may reside in the sub-floor or concrete under the affected areas. Simply replacing the carpeting will not solve the odor problem by itself.

  Unfortunately, urine deposited on the fibres of the carpet does not stay there. It penetrates the carpet fibres, then it contaminates both the backing of the carpet and the flooring material below the carpet. Often, without the owners knowing, pets will urinate continually in the same general location over a long period of time. The average dog urinates approximately 104 mls (4 oz) and the average cat about 52-78 mls (2-3 oz) per deposit. When multiplied over a period of a few months, the amount of urine deposited reaches a magnitude of such proportions that even carpet and pad replacement will not solve the problem. Urine odors will permeate the sub-floor, be it cement or wood, the tack strip holding the carpeting in place and will even penetrate the framework of the house behind the walls and under the flooring surface.

  As urine dries, the liquid evaporates the urine crystals, which consist of bacteria, urochrome, uric acid, urea, proteins, hormones and other ingredients, become even more concentrated and pungent.

  Many cleaners will attempt to clean the effected area and will apply a liberal dose of deodorizers to the area in hopes of making the problem go away. This is a "band-aid" solution at best. Simple cleaning will not remove the odor. Disinfectants and perfumes will not remove the odor. Chem-Dry's P.U.R.T. will solve the problem and will remove the Pet Urine from your carpeting.

• Rust Removal

  Rust is a common stain in many households but one that has many cleaners stumped. • Coffee/Tea Removal

  True Coffee Removal, that is what our new three step coffee removal system gives Chem-Dry! Coffee stains are one of the most difficult of the "day-to-day" stains that we encounter. This is due to the fact that coffee contains natural acidic dyes that are identical to the hot dyes used at the carpet mills. These dyes bond chemically with the carpet; in many cases leaving behind permanent, unsightly stains. Our new Coffee Removal System isolates the specific dye from among other dyes and then removes it. This is truly a miracle product that solves many problems in the home and office.

• Ink Removal

  New to our arsenal at Chem-Dry is a revolutionary Ink Remover. This product is second to none. It can remove permanent markers, felt pens, common inks and more. It is also effective on finger nail polish, copier toner, and some spray paints. This product can save carpeting damaged by ink stains, that before the introduction of this amazing product, had to be replaced!

• Automobile Interior Cleaning

  We are not in the business of total auto detailing, however we do clean the interior of vehicles. Many of our regular customers choose us to clean their vehicle interiors purely because of our cleaning product.
